". . . the land of the free and the home of the brave." These last two phrases of the National Anthem evoke a sense of pride, of determination and of admiration for this country. Her freedom, preserved by many generations of men and women of faith, is the subject of many songs. Deborah Craig-Claar and David T. Clydesdale have blended these classic patriotic favorites with newly composed works to bring you The Home of the Brave.

Boldly patriotic, The Home of the Brave focuses on the blessings that God has given us throughout our nation's history. The musical grounds itself in the actual events of history with narration that creatively integrates direct quotations from the diaries of Lewis and Clark, the Declaration of Independence, and the Oath of Citizenship. In addition, the accompaniment recording includes recordings of actual speeches by General Pershing, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and President Ronald Reagan.

The Home of the Brave is composed of four sections which can be performed separately at Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Citizenship Day. These sections are each arranged and linked chronologically so a cover-to-cover presentation provides your church ministry with a powerful program well-suited for a community performance. Think of the impact that your church could have at any patriotic celebration with The Home of the Brave.
